Meet in the Twin Bluff Middle School Parking Lot

**Friends of the Bluffs and the Conservation Corps of Minnesota will be clearing brush and buckthorn.  Please join us. Coffee, hot chocolate, water, snacks, and lunch
will be provided.**

2nd Annual Family Snowshoe/Cross-Country Ski/Winter Hike and Campfire

Where: adjacent to Mississippi National parking lot - bonfire pits

When: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Other details: A supply of equipment will be available for families to try. If you own your own equipment please bring to use. After snowshoeing, skiing or hiking, families may enjoy a cup of hot chocolate by our campfire.

Time: Start time 7am with an estimated sunrise at 7:47am

Place:  Barn Bluff Trailhead (off of E 5th Street)

What to Bring: Dress for weather, sturdy footwear, headlamp or flashlight

Hot beverage and cameras optional

We will be meeting at the Neal Street Trail head to work on replacing the steps and removing bittersweet on the trails. 

FOTB is sponsoring the 2017 River City Days Disc Golf Tournament.

Monday, July 24th from 6:30-8:00 pm

We will be meeting at the Sumac Drive Trailhead to work on clearing the trails, removing oriental bittersweet and buckhorn.  Open to all, Friends of the Bluffs will provide tools, bug spray and water.

Join Friends of the Bluffs and the Red Wing Environmental Learning Center as we work on the trails at Barn Bluff on Wednesday, June 21st from 5:30-8:00 pm.  We will be improving the water bars to help redirect the flow of rain water.  Additional trail projects will be happening too. Bring gloves, long pants, close-toed shoes, water, pick axes, shovels, and a friend. ELC will provide buns and brats at the end of the work evening.
